When I got my initial starter kit of essential oils, I knew they were safe for my tiny human, but how was I supposed to use them!? The easiest place to start is the diffuser.
It’s fairly common knowledge that lavender is exceptionally good at calming and relaxation. It’s also one of the safest oils to use around Little’s. Though Thea is a remarkable sleeper at night, she tends to struggle with sleeping in her crib for naps during the day. Pre-warming the crib with a heating pad only helps so much.
I have a personal adoration for citrus, especially lemon. I drink lemon water constantly for its bajillion health benefits. Diffusing lemon oil helps clean and purify the air as well as help give your mood a boost.
I now almost constantly have a blend of lavender and lemon running in the nursery diffuser. Lavender to calm, lemon to help clean the air and uplift. There’s something so spa like about lavender with just a splash of citrus.
