Hands

One of the first places on your body to show age is your hands. You could have a beautiful, wrinkle free face, but if your hands start looking like tissue paper, it’s a dead giveaway. As a mom I am constantly washing my hands, working in the garden, and putting my hands through the wringer. Here are a few of my favorite ways to take care of my hands.

Sugar Scrub. This gentle scrub helps slough away dead skin, removes dirt after a day of gardening, hydrates, and softens skin. It’s truly one of my most favorite alternative uses for this product and it works wonders on your hands!

CorrectX. Somewhere along the lines, I missed how to take care of cuticles. On top of it I have the awful habit of picking at them. This winter I began applying and rubbing in CorrectX to my cuticles at night before bed. Not only did it help manage my cuticles but I saw a difference in my nails too.

LLV Vitamins. Your hair and nails are what you eat! When you are taking high quality vitamins, full of good things, your hair & nails will thank you!

When my hands are exceptionally dry, I love to use Honest Co All Purpose Balm at night before bed. If they’re tired from a day in the garden, I add a drop each of black pepper & Copaiba. If I have blisters or cuts, I add a drop each of Lavender & Frankincense.

To help fade scars, spots, and support the skin of your hands, apply oils like Frankincense, Yarrow|Pom, Sandalwood, or Copaiba.
